P2P USDT Trading: Safety Rules for Buyers and Sellers

Updated 2026-11-03

On the P2P market you can buy and sell USDT directly with other users, and the platform fee is 0 for both buyer and seller. The platform protects both sides with escrow, but you only truly avoid losses if you stick to the rules below.

How a P2P trade works

  1. Choose an ad and place an order. When the order starts, the seller's USDT is locked in escrow.
  2. Within the 15-minute payment window, the buyer pays using the seller's payment details shown in the order, then confirms the payment in the order.
  3. Once the seller confirms in their own account that the money has arrived, they release the coins, and the USDT moves from escrow to the buyer.
  4. If there is a dispute, click "Appeal" in the order and the platform will review it manually.

Payment methods include bank transfer, local payment apps and more. The seller's payment details are only shown inside the order.

Trade limits

  • Without identity verification: up to 100 USD per order and 300 USD per day; only one active order and one ad at a time.
  • With identity verification: up to 1,000 USD per order and per day; approved merchants have higher limits.
  • You can cancel at most 3 orders per day.
  • "Experienced trader" badge: at least 20 completed trades and a success rate of at least 80%.

Tips for buyers

  • Pay only from an account in your own name.
  • Do not write words such as "USDT", "coin" or "crypto" in the payment note.
  • Only mark the order as paid after the money has actually been sent.

Tips for sellers

  • Receive payment only to an account in your own name.
  • A screenshot is not proof of payment. Release the coins only after you see the money actually arrive in your own account.
  • No matter how hard the other side pushes, never release the coins before you have received the payment.

Anti-scam rules

  • Use only the chat inside the order. Do not move the conversation off the platform.
  • Do not click any link the other side sends you.
  • The platform will never ask you to release coins in the chat. If someone claiming to be support pushes you to release coins, file an appeal right away.
If something goes wrong, do not settle it privately. Click "Appeal" in the order and wait for the platform to handle it manually.

You can also skip P2P and deposit USDT directly from another wallet; see how to deposit and withdraw USDT. No account yet? Register to start trading; on mobile, download the Android app.
